B-Squadron

Leicester Oi! band B-Squadron don’t mind sharing their political views. We would like to clarify their stand, so you won’t have to confuse B-Squadron for an apolitical Oi!-band.

No surprise they are playing with their bonehead mates from The Glory, where fence sitter Tim Steinfort’s band Haymaker are headlining. Regarding Rebellion: several bonehead bands have had the opportunity to be introduced at Rebellion, and through Rebellion paved the way for its more mainstream audience within the scene. This might cause confusion, as Rebellion is believed by some not to let racists use the stage, but that’s far from correct.

B-Squadron vocalist Travis is pretty vocal about his views too.

As a British Unionist, Travis also hold pro-loyalist views, sympathetic to paramilitary organisations in Northern Ireland, that committed acts of terror and atrocities against the Irish. Loyalism is linked closely to far-right terrorist organisations like Combat 18.

4-Skins – One Law For Them, is a tune about how immigrants are ruining England, and even referring to the infamous Tory (later Ulster Unionist Party) politician Enoch Powell’s Rivers of Blood speech

Bass player Max Stafford are into RAC and other Neo-Nazi affiliated subculture like Thor Steinar, but what they all share are sympathies with the far-right poster buy Tommy Robinson.

Above are just a few “likes” of Travis. With vocal members as Trav, B-Squadron would surely like to attract the right audience, and distance themselves from the so called PC skins and punks.
